Great project called Poster Pocket Plants created by two boys wanting to reclaim and create in their urban environment. Makes a welcome change from adverts galore! See more pics here
Just when I thought I'd seen as many paper cuts as I could take for one year, I discovered Ohio artist Laura's online portfolio. So intricate and beautiful are her paper cuts that they're pinned together in formation... I particularly love the amazing moving pieces and their shadowy friends.

Taschen books have brought out this multi-coloured range of diaries for the lazy journal writer! As they so rightly state their case: (1) Not every day is very eventful. (2) It actually takes a lot of discipline - regarding 1 even more so. (3) In retrospect, many find what they have written quite embarrassing..... so as an alternative, this diary instead probes your silly side! It would be much more a chuckle to read back than your average diary too...
I want to live inside this book! It's the follow on from 'A year of Mornings' and this time is aptly called 3191: Evenings (to be released mid-October) I love the story behind it too... 2 friends (Maria Alexandra Vettese of Lines and Shapes, and Stephanie Congdon Barnes) 3191 miles apart, uploading and sharing photos everyday of the year - first mornings and now nights... love that!

They should make international postpacks like this lovely felted one brought to you by Small Adventures... such a good idea!

Oooo... exciting opportunity for anybody who is handy with their glue stick and mitts in the world of design and illustration. Its the follow on from the inspiring book 'Fingerprint: The Art of Using Handmade Elements in Graphic Design' and is bound to be as big a bundle of goodness as the first one was. Clemens' other illustration work is great too... I think he quite likes birds!?

(you can get a similar effect by printing a tiled photograph on many pieces of paper and then lining them all up)
