We're moving into our bright new flat today... HOORAY!
It may be a few days before I'm back though... as long as it takes those internet folk to connect us! Please do come back as will have photos and things then though to show and tell.

MMTG stationery
Friday, 16 April 2010
Had an email the other day from Caroline over at notemaker introducing me to the sweet like chocolate stationery collection of MMMG (Millimetre/Milligram) from Korea. I especially love the little spacemen notes...

Check out and buy the whole collection here
& what could be more lovable than a burst of colour on a daily basis...

A week in Twitterland
Some curiosities that have been floating round the web this week...
> Incredibly stunning black and white diary from Artiva (like no diary I've seen before) & cute shoebox art (both via upon a fold)
> Two great Kindle commercials here and here (& pictured above) makes me like them slightly more! (via Simple pretty)
> Amazing art and interview with 'ears' (via side street sydney)
> Interesting article about time-wasting (I am guilty of it) on the internet (via Pistachio Press)
> Some great fabric disguised as brown paper packages (via Oh Joy Studio)
> Pretty amazing quilled paper art by Nava Lubelsky (via Craft)

Origami Jewels
Monday, 12 April 2010

One thing even more brilliant than origami animals are metal castings of origami animals that can be kept forever and worn everyday. This is what the aptly named Origami Jewellery does. It was quite exciting to find them and now I just need to find someone in Europe to buy some for me! The installation photographs pictured below are as gorgeous as the jewels themselves.
Paper collection galore
Sunday, 11 April 2010
These photos I found on flickr are so beautiful they make me abit dizzy! They remind me of how an olden day schoolroom might look. They are the beautiful collections of Dawbis (of the hugely inspiring Lovely Paper)

I can't wait to unpack our things and have a home again (only 1 week to go, yipee)... I am a complete magpie at heart and will only feel at rest again once have filled my nest with things made from pulp!
Creative wonder of MicMacs
Just saw the beautiful most recent of Jean-Pierre Jeunet movies... ahh! Being a huge Amelie fan (also Delicatessen and City of Lost Children), there were great expectations and still it didn't disappoint - especially the adorable characters of the mishmash family. Sunbeams of innocent and magical creativity... made for a very happy moi this weekend!

Studio on Fire // Open Studio

Wish today that I lived in Minneapolis... would love to see the insides of Studio on Fire
Lauren Clay // Paper sculptures
Wednesday, 7 April 2010
New York based artist Lauren Clay's work is virtually dribbling with goodness. Paper has been morphed into prisms and liquid lava as if by magic, to make paperscapes you might discover only in Wonderland!

Upon a Fold // Business cards
Thursday, 1 April 2010
Following on from the previous post about the newfound delights of upon a fold, I thought I'd share their adorable business cards. Such a simple but such an effective idea (am ashamed to admit I'm quite green that I didn't think of them!)
